Milner Gardens & Woodland has a family activity from Aug 2 to Aug 8, 2010 called “Cedar Search”. Children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult. Using a map, search the forest where you will meet BC's official tree, the Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata). As you follow your map you will learn a whole bunch of facts about this amazing tree. When all Cedar questions have been answered, return with your map to the Welcome & Interpretive Centre. Your answers will be reviewed for a certificate of completion issued in your name, and you will receive a souvenir of your BC Day experience at Milner Gardens & Woodland. Open 10 am to 5 pm.
