September 22 - 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Metchosin Farm (542 Wootton Road). Feast of Fields is FarmFolk CityFolk’s annual fundraising event. Attending a Feast of Fields is a gastronomic experience you do not want to miss. Throughout the 16 years of Feasts on the island, people have tasted the creativity that flows through our talented island chefs, farmers and food artisans. Food is paired with locally produced wines and ales, cider and mead to bring a rounded and full bodied decadent explosion to your lucky taste buds. Wander around the beautiful atmosphere of Metchosin Farm, sample delicacies, listen to music and socialize with like-minded folks – you will be supporting the important work and food security initiatives that FarmFolk CityFolk invests in. Tickets are $95/person. Two pieces of ID are required to enter the event due to BC liquor laws. For now, we are only selling adult tickets. Please stay tuned to our website: www.farmfolkcityfolk.ca for more up to date information in regards to minors allowed at the event (also due to BC liquor laws). Tickets are on sale starting on June 1st online at www.farmfolkcityfolk.ca or in person at Cook Culture (1317 Blanshard Street in Victoria). The event sells out every year, so don’t miss out on your opportunity. A shuttle Bus is organized for pick up at Mayfair Mall in Victoria at 12:00 with an extra pick up at the Juan De Fuca branch Vancouver Island Regional Library at the West Shore Recreation Center in Colwood at 12:20. Tickets are $10/person for the return trip. Vehicle parking is available off of Whitty Beach Road.
