The only way to get to the mid-island from the airport 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Dan LaRocque,

BC Ferries is a great way to get to Nanaimo if you're driving on, but if you're in a hurry to get home after a journey or make a morning flight, Sea air seaplanes is the only way to go. Cheap (about 65 bucks each way) and convenient, a quick cab ride from the airport, a twenty minute flight and you're at Departure Bay. Compare it with a cab ride or bus to Horseshoe Bay for the ferry, plus the $12.00 walk-on fare, the time it takes to get across town and the time of the crossing itself. Just try it, you'll agree, Sea Air seaplanes is the only way to go.
