Party Play at Cyber City
Corie

Cyber City on Bowen Rd. in Nanaimo has fun for the whole family.
There are many games to the right when you first walk in, and on the left is an A&W burger restaurant. Each game costs a small amount of tokens and if you win you get a certain amount of tickets to cash in for prizes. The prizes go from bracelets, balls, candy, chains and more.
Behind the games is the jungle gym. Kids could probably play for hours with the tunnels, balls and slides. If you want to try the mini golf course, it’s best to have a group or at least two people. This is a great way to get to know the people you are with and how competitive they are.
For even more laughs, there is the laser tag room. What else says fun other than racing around in the dark, pointing at your friends and shooting at them? You can even race your friends outside on the go cart track.
My family loved Cyber City.

Great fun except for the junky prizes

We've enjoyed the Cyber City arcade many times. The games are fun and youngster appropriate - whack a mole and similar and are a departure from the violent video games so common these days. The kids get tickets to redeem for prizes at the end and that's the only part that bugs me, you end up going home with a bag full of crappy made-in-China toys and doo-dads that end up straight in the landfill. Some kind of alternative for those of us who care would be nice.
